Ukraine’s Zelenskyy: We have good chance to end this war quickly

After being more cynical about Russians Putin and his intentions earlier today, Ukraine’s Zelenskyy is on the wires saying:

• There was a productive meeting with US partners in Saudi Arabia.
• Now close to first step in ending any war
• Proposes starting with silence in the air and at sea.
• US suggested going further with an immediate and unconditional cease-fire on the ground.
• We have a good chance to end this war quickly.
• We do not want to play games with ending war.

The Ukraine deputy prime minister says US is still to decide on conditions to sign the minerals deal
