Mark Carney will call Canadian election for April 28 – report

Newly-named Canadian Prime Mininster Mark Carney will call a Federal election on Sunday, the Globe & Mail reports. He will set the election date for April 28.

The resignation of Trudeau and selection of Carney is the new Liberal leader have upended an election that once showed Conservatives with a crushing lead.

Polls this week show Liberals in majority territory as Conservatives were seen as soft on Trump when the trade war started. I suspect this will be a real battle.
