European shares close the day mixed

The European stock indices are closing mostly higher. The exception is the UK FTSE 100 which fell despite the 25 basis point cut by the BOE today.

The final numbers are showing:

• France’s CAC +0.76%
• UK’s FTSE 100 -0.32%
• Spain’s Ibex +0.65%
• Italy’s FTSE MIB +0.12%
