i saw some news flooding in on Twitter regarding the Crypto ban in China.

scalped 4 times sucessful BTCUSD .. gaining 8.6% for today which turned the week back in the green.

Hello readers,

I have to go see a doctor today as my cold is not getting any better. As a result, there will be likely no livestream today. I’ll update this post once I come back from the doctor.

Update: I’m back from the doctor! Doc said I’m fine, but that it looks like I probably had a fever and it’s starting to come down. That must’ve been why I was feeling extra crummy. He gave me some meds so I’ll have to take those for a while. It’s good to know I’m doing something about it and that it should go away soon though.

While I was there I ended up striking a conversation with what turned out to be a neurosurgeon! I was a bit intimidated once he told me. His time must be so valuable, and he must save so many lives from very serious illnesses. He had my respect immediately; it’s not an easy path to choose or take.

How about we talk about this more in the next stream! And hopefully soon, thanks to the medicine.

Trading is NOT “free Money”

Trading the markets is easy/free money? maybe it is easy .. but it is certainly not free!

If you close a winning trade, someone else have to pay for it.

“someone” is NOT your Broker!

just like with everything else in this world, there is no difference in Trading.

if you work a 9-5, your employer pays you, the money will come out of his account and go into your account.

in other words, your employer will have a “loss” and you will have a “win”.
but instead of a “loss”, for your employer, this is just the “cost of doing business”

in Trading, however, you do not have an employer but a Broker.
the Broker provides you (among other things) the service of finding someone that will lift your offers.

some other trader will have a losing position to close, and the money of the one loss will go to your account.

if you pay for someone else’s winning trade, this is just the cost of being in the Trading business.
this can not be avoided by anyone, anywhere, EVER!

• at some stage you will have to pay someone else’s win,
  your mission is to make sure it’s not too expensive.
• if there is nobody buying at the price where you selling,
  your Order will be filled/executed at a later price that is called “slippage”
  (as stated before, the Broker will not lift your offer and pay your winnings, the market will)

Broker Related example

Let’s imagine you “trade” Fruits on the local Market, but you are not a Farmer, meaning you buy the Fruits from a Farmer in order to re-sell it. that will make you a Broker and in the case of the local market, you will be a Market maker too since there is no Zentralized exchange that tells us the current price of yours Fruits.

your objective is NOT to get rich quick by selling your fruits at the highest price as fast as possible.

your objective is to minimize the risk and try to sell ALL your fruits by the end of the day, as they will go bad overnight and you will have to throw them away.

throwing them away is just the same as closing a losing trade.

selling Fruits or trade the markets, at some stage there will be a leftover which you paid for already by purchasing it. and you have to throw them out (realize a loss) just as in the FInancial markets, there is no way to predict how many customers will buy your stuff at the current day.

after the fiasko of the last 2 days solved, everthing goes back to normal. (hopefully)
and there we go, start the day first hedge active on gold. (so much for “normal”
Just 8.99$ to boil away TP somewhere at 1320

well now thinking maybe take on the full channel for some nice profit, but there is the vWap in the way ..

truth comes 40 minutes later: as expected, that was a mistake .. next hedge on .. ;(

Hard times are over !

Just closed the short Trade on gold this morning.

Whooping the account balance to: 1336.77$

I will set a “zero” here and count trades from that amount.

Otherwise the Day 9 report would show 200% and that is certainly not true.

Good Morning everyone,
after yesterdays Party, the dust settled and i have to look at the Damage made so far.

the Gold Trade is still on with a Whooping 319% gain (well thats about 40% in real terms compared to the Account balance of Yesterday before the Gau Started.
so there is still some pips to be made ..  14$ on Gold to be exact.
(since iam holding about 2.2 Kilogramms of Gold, that 14$ will be substantial)

there will be very likely no trades till this is sorted out, as Damage-control and Capital preservation is most important in Trading.

Quick trade on GBPAUD for 5.5pips to have the “no trades” title go away 🙂

Chcicken out on NZDUSD, looked good on M7 chart .. but the M30 chart revealed a down sloping Price..
cancel that one with 0.6Pip Profit

Sadly due to the massive drop happen on GOLD and all other Pairs simultaniously the moment New York Stock Exchange came online, a major part of the hedged position was liquidated.
