Beware of some Volatility issues may happen because of the German Elections.

especially for the DAX(DE30/GER30), IT, ES, and FR Indicies.

and all EURO Based Forex Currency Pairs

I personally believe the dax will drop right after the opening .. via a considerable Gap .. and fade.

i gonna need a Bigger screen …

hey there,

the morning session was a bit quiet …
went out basically on 0 with NZDJPY trades

EURAUD Saved the day,
whipsawed myself a few times in participation for a drop but then it really happend and we went out with 2.21% total gain

the Dax Hedge is still on … somehow its moving into London session FAR up ..
well we just wait it out .. 2$ Ccost on Swap wont kill us for another day 😉

Trading carries a huge risk for losses!
In fact, there is nobody in the world that trades who does not experience losses!
Our mission as traders is to limit the losses we incur so that we can protect our Equity.

As widely taught by educators, financial analysts, and other traders, the easiest way to protect ourselves from losses is to use a Stop-Loss order.

A stop-loss order will close your trade at a specific price set by you to limit the loss in case the trade becomes invalid.

Hedging 101 (protecting profits or pause a trade)

Hedging occurs when a transaction is entered to reduce exposure to a prior trade turning against you and eliminating profits or increasing losses. Hedging is done to decrease the risks and hold a position until the markets begin to move in the original trade’s favored direction.

Just like finding entries, it is even more important finding exits.

It is especially important in the case a Day-trade turns into a swing trade.

Swing trades usually carry much smaller size because the stop-levels are much wider.
Using the same size on a much wider stop would massively increase the risk of the trade.

Good Morning

the DAX Trade is still on .. expecting it to drop .. but have a Hedge on for security

Meanwhile a quick Scalp down on USDCHF

the scalp of USDCHF worked out well .. added about 0.25%

the DAX Trade played out well ..

The position is not closed but Hedged locking in a Total Equity Gain of 9.2%
I may later release the hedge .. or just close the position out realizing the Equity to the Account Balance
